The gentlemen working in the hotel are really nice and ready to support if needed. Understanding of guests problems and readiness to support are really much appreciated and create good memories. Mozarella and salades served in the hotel's cafe is just fantastic. all in all atmosphere in the hotel is nice and friendly.
the only one and minor thing left some room for further improvement is that bed in one-bed room was moving on rolls :) if ones like rolling while sleeping than it's fine. but may be better to fix the bed :) However, it didn't spoil the impression about the hotel in whole.
The hotel is ideally situated in a quiet residential area close to the Euclide station which in turn is one stop away from the sites of Rome or the central underground if you prefer to travel that way rather than on foot. We chose this hotel because it was also ideally situated for the Foro Italico/Stadio Olimpico for the tennis and football. The hotel is kept to a very high standard of cleanliness and the staff are friendly and always helpful. Our room was of a reasonable size and very comfortable and we experienced little, if any, disturbance from the other rooms around us. Breakfast was as you'd expect on the Continent with lots of sweet pastries and cakes, tinned fruit, yoghurt, cold meats and cheese, very little in the way of hot food but nevertheless fresh and of good quality. Sugary fruit juice concentrate and coffee available from machines but the always helpful waiters do offer to make you a cappuccino or espresso from the proper coffee machine so that's excellent.
Would have preferred more in the way of hot food for breakfast. Quite often once the hot food ran out it was not replaced so you had to settle for cold meats and cheese. Also the waiters didn't really keep on top of stocks of cutlery and plates etc. When they were asked they rectified this immediately but it would have been better if they had kept an eye on these basic things as they went along.
It is a fine 4 star hotel where u can enjoy a journey to Rome. The great jacuzzi and sauna are a perfect way to end a day after walking around the Rome's churches and ruins . Also the rooms ( at least the one where we stayed ) look good . Staff is helpful and polite , but not going the extra mile. Location is a good one and quite close to public transportation , even though is not that close as one might expect checking on the map.
Even if things were in general as expected there are several things I would enjoyed to know before going there . First of all the shuttle which is included in the hotel service and is supposed to drive u to a central place ( piazza Spania ) might not come in some days . For example we've waited more than 1h for it and still didn't arrived , even though the receptionist told us that it will arrive in 10 min . Again when leaving the hotel a taxi was a better choice since that shuttle was somewhere out there :) . Second thing is breakfast : it's OK , but the same things every day . I won't recommend for more than 2-3 days . Last thing is the metro which seems located quite near on the map , but note that u will have to climb some steps equivalent to 3-4 floors, or take a longer walk. Also the metro from euclid to flaminio is not very often : 15-20 min . On the other hand u have a bus going to termini somewhere nearby , that can also be an option .
Very friendly staff, cozy and clean hotel, very calm - no noisy neighbours, but it is situated rather far from all sights what is not very good for tourists. On the other hand I rent a car and they gave a free parking place so for me it was very comfortable.
Lovely boutique hotel, nice comfy rooms and jacuzzi which came in very handy after a long day walking through Rome. Very helpful friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Breakfast plentiful with choice of cake, bread rolls, meats and cheese, yoghurts, eggs and bacon, pastries and fruit and again very helpful staff. If possible request a balcony room as this was lovely to sit at night and enjoy some wine after a long eventful day. Definately recommend this hotel to people staying in Rome, although not right in the centre only 1 bus stop away from Termini or 1 train stop away from Piazza del Popolo, or you can walk to most sights in 15-30 minutes depending on where you would like to go.
Decor is a bit dated but not a problem as rooms very clean and this did not stop us enjoying this hotel one bit. All in all I loved this hotel and will definately stay again on my next visit to Rome
The room was very big! The bathtub was a jacuzzi as well. The porter was very helpful and friendly and took good care of our car.
Although we specifically asked for a room with a bathtub, we were initially given a room with a shower. I had to ask the reception again and only then they gave us one. Also, even though it is stated that there is a free shuttle service to the city, the shuttle has never worked during our stay. The wifi costs 7 euro per day.
Everything! Quiet, clean, beautiful rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Many thanks to them, especially to the concierge girl that works in the afternoon (we feel so bad for not asking her name). We requested a room on the upper floors with a view of the city, and by golly, we got one on the 4th floor with an amazing view of San Peter's Basilica. Very good breakfast in the morning on a quiet terrace, among orange trees (many thanks to Teodoro, our wonderful waiter, for making the best cappuccinos). The jacuzzi and the sauna downstairs were a life-saver after long hours of walking every day. The location of the hotel was perfect as we could take the bus or the tram to everywhere we wanted to go. All in all, we had an amazing time there! Can't wait to come back. Mille grazie!!!
The hotel was beautiful . And location was nice to
This hotel has it all to be successful , it's beautiful and clean but the service of the staff was just terrible , I could forget about the small room and the non working tub, but common guys I never saw a hotel who "forgets" to clean your room the day after. No clean towels, not enything! Wean I ask for clean towels the guy who works there told us we need to ask for someone to clean the room
Better standard than many comparable hotels in Rome
A bit too far from the centre and only some of the rooms are big enough to accommodate luggage
Room was comfortable, clean with good facilities and quiet.
Wifi free but uplift new access codes every 24 hours. If two and three star hotels can provide guests with free high speed connection at time of checking to checkout, four and five star can do the same.
Fantastic service. Free internet, which these days is rare at hotels. At five star hotels you have to pay for net so this definitely was a plus. Italians stay at this hotel, and that for me means that this place has a good reputation with the locals. A bit difficult to get to from the Ciampino airport. A taxi cab fare cost 62euros. Good train connection from the "Euclide" train station to the metro system. It took us 20mins to get to Spanish Steps. Breakfast was great, but the same thing everyday. They gave an optional cappucino, which was the best I ever had. You could eat your breakfast outside on the patio, which was great after a night of partying. The elevator was small and freaked my gf out. The room was top class with a safe, flat screen tv with cnn & bbc as the only English channels. We lived on the second floor and the view was perfect. The windows had black out blinds, which helped keep us dark for longer sleeping periods. When we checked out unfortunately we were charged a 30euro tax fee, which was a big surprise to me. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Elevator, 30euro tax surprise and the same things for breakfast everyday. It was really good, but the same.
Beautiful room under the roof, very tasty breakfast, attentive staff
Far away from the city center, but it is not a bad thing, because in Rome have a lot of walking!
A very sunny and relaxing room... The stuff friendly and helpful... The breakfast bar full.... The experience fulfilling!!! We certainly received more than expected... I would whole heartily recommended to all weary travellers to Rome....
A bit stingly with the bathroom towels... the hand towels were like cloth napkins ... but then again this is a common occurence in Rome hotels...
Breakfast vet poor. Cold water for tea, warm coffee
Lovely, peaceful, comfortable, quiet. Charming terrace for buffet breakfast. Beautiful residential neighborhood, walking distance to Parco della Musica (15-20 mins) and the maxxi a few blocks beyond that, an easy (one-mile) walk to the Villa Borghese. Attractive fitness room. Outstanding value.
The dinner offering was very limited, though delicious and reasonable.
